A donation that matches the age structure of the community
The Gongrenlu Community in Beigan Street, Xiaoshan District, has a resident population of nearly 12,000, of which more than 2,000 are elderly people aged 60 and above. In a community with a high aging population and high building density, fire safety is always a top priority for ensuring people's livelihood, and this is precisely the starting point for Jingzhen's donation.
At the event, the Gongrenlu Community presented BlackFire with a plaque honoring its donation. The BlackFire carbon fiber non-combustible fire blankets, valued at 50,000 yuan, will be distributed to various communities and three nursing homes under the jurisdiction of Beigan Street to replenish community public fire emergency supplies and enhance grassroots fire safety capabilities.
02
Not just delaying combustion, but inherently non-combustible
The BlackFire carbon fiber non-combustible fire blankets donated by BlackFire use BlackFire's independently developed carbon fiber ultra-high temperature non-combustible fabric. Achieving "inherent non-combustibility" at the fiber molecular structure level, with a limiting oxygen index of up to 57%, they can withstand 1600℃ ultra-high temperature flames for 40 minutes without burning, melting, or dripping. They are also soft and skin-friendly, and can be used by hand—meaning even elderly people with reduced reflexes can use them by hand in critical moments.
03
Let Materials Protect Lives
Since its inception, BlackFire has been committed to the mission of "Let materials protect lives," focusing on the research and application of ultra-high temperature non-combustible materials. This donation is a concrete action by the company to fulfill its social responsibility and give back to society.
Communities are the basic units of urban safety, and the elderly are a key group requiring attention and protection in fire safety. BlackFire hopes to use its "non-combustible" technology to build a visible and tangible safety barrier for the community and the elderly.
The relevant person in charge of Gongrenlu Community expressed gratitude for BlackFire's generous donation and stated that they will make proper use of these fire blankets, while strengthening community fire safety publicity and emergency material management to effectively protect the lives and property of residents.
